Winter 2007 This has been a busy and productive year so far. I've spent the last few months putting the finishing touches on my new CD, 'Distant Strangers'. The music is done, and my good friend Craig Roberston is hard at work designing text and layout for the cover. In the meantime, sample tracks are already up on my EPK--check it out at www.sonicbids.com/timmann Craig has also kept busy with his monthly 'Ukulele Noir' shows, and I've had the pleasure of taking part in the last few. In January, I played a set at The Sky Bar with Greg Hawkes, which made it on to youtube!--Greg and I also took part in a fantastic show at The Bull Run in February, and I'll be playing at The Revolving Museum in Lowell with Zack Hickman, who was a musical guest on The David Letterman show in January, playing with Josh Ritter.Greg and Zack have both contributed to 'Distant Strangers', and hopefully we can all put on a CD release extravaganza soon! Recording news: I've pared back on performing in the last few weeks, as I have been spending time putting finishing touches on my new cd. I'm very excited about this one. The record will be called 'Distant Strangers' and I hope to have music recorded by late fall. Stay tuned for sample tracks, coming to my website soon!

I am also taking part in a Ukulele CD put together by Craig Robertson, who is the illustrious host of 'Ukulele Noir', (Boston MA based Ukulele Troupe) I have recorded two ukulele songs that should be mixed by the end of the month, and will be available shortly. I also took part in recording a version of the Everly Brothers classic, 'All I Have To Do Is Dream', with Greg Hawkes and Craig Robertson.

Summer 2007

Happy 40th anniversary to The Summer of Love!--I've had a very productive spring; I'm getting 'Distant Strangers' ready for a Winter release.

My good friend Craig Roberston is hard at work on the graphic design -CD artwork, and it's starting to take shape.

During the spring, I had the pleasure of working with Greg Hawkes and Zack Hickman, as we were featured in the 'New Music showcase' series run by Walter Gonet in Springfield, MA. Our segment will be shown on Comcast channels around New England in the coming year..

I also took part in Club Passim's annual 'Cutting Edge of the Campfire' festival over the Memorial Day weekend. A lot of great music, and groovy people. Pictures are up on the site, so check it out...

Spring 2007
The last few months have been a very busy and exciting time for me, and there have been lots of developments lately....

In recording news, the new CD 'Distant Strangers' is almost done, sample tracks are already on my website and epk. In addition to my own record, I've taken part in a CD sampler of the 'Ukulele Noir' gang, and the cd will feature two new ukulele tracks from 'Distant Strangers'

I've also been added to the roster of artists on the Shuteye Records compilation, 'Buzzlighter', due out later in the year.

Performances: In gig news, I've played some shows in Lowell recently, the first being a Ukulele Noir show at The Revolving Museum in March (with Zack Hickman), and in early May I was at The Brew'd Awakenings Coffeehaus. Check out my EPK for video from the Museum show with Zack...
